After being a successful launch on iOS, Mozilla’s Private Browser ‘Firefox Focus’ is now available on Android smartphone. Firefox Focus will not allow ads, online trackers, and it will not keep records of your web surfing session (passwords, cookies, history, etc.) on the device – no special settings are needed. In simple words Mozilla’s private browser ‘Firefox Focus’ is for all who value their privacy over anything else.
Firefox Focus has a minimalistic design and great look. It is lightweight (below 4MB) and fast. Unfortunately, it does not support tab browsing. The browser is remarkably simple to use. It blocks ads and online trackers automatically (no user settings is required), and offers a one button cleaning to all recent activities. You can see it in the notification shade as well as on the bottom of the screen.
Also, since the Firefox Focus blocks ads and wide range web trackers, web pages load faster. This feature will also help you reduce mobile data usage.
Firefox Focus does not have too many settings. In settings menu, users can disable the ad blocking and stealth mode. Also, the simple search engine picker helps users pick their favorite search engine quickly.
Of course, most browsers have a ‘private browsing’ mode, but it is not comprehensive or easy to use like Firefox Focus. Firefox Focus is designed for those who want to remain private on their smartphone. It even will not allow taking screenshot.
Interested users can download Firefox Focus browser from the Google Play Store.
