Xiaomi has released MIUI 220.127.116.11 Global stable ROM for its newest device Redmi 4A to improve system performance and fix bugs found in the previous MIUI 8.2 build. The OTA (over the air) update starts rolling out for Redmi Note 4A and since the update is rolling out in phases it will take few days to get on all deices. If you cannot wait for the OTA, you can install the MIUI 18.104.22.168.MCCMIDL update manually.
Still based on the Android Marshmallow, the new MIUI 22.214.171.124.MCCMIDL update for Redmi 4A includes few new features as well, such as swipe to delete lock screen notification, new battery saver toggle for notification shade, new home screen settings menu, etc. Below is the main changelog of MIUI 126.96.36.199 Global Stable ROM.

Note: The MIUI 184.108.40.206.MCCMIDL is for Redmi 4A only. They are not for Redmi 4 and Redmi 4 Prime.

Recovery Method (Recommended)
1. Download MIUI 8 Global Stable 220.127.116.11.MCCMIDL ROM Recovery image from here for Redmi 4A.
2. Save the recovery image file on Redmi 4A’s internal memory.
3. Launch the ‘Updater’ app on your phone, tap on 3 horizontal dots (…) at the top-right corner, select ‘Choose update package’ and then select the ROM zip file you have just saved.
4. Your device will start updating and will reboot after finishing the update. Enjoy!
