It has been over a month since Lineage OS team (former CyanogenMod) released the official build of LineageOS 14.1. Since then the team expand the supported device list and now it is available for more devices. Nougat based LineageOS 14.1 is now supports ZTE Axon 7, OnePlus 3T, LG G3, Yu Yunique, HTC One Max, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 and more.
A benefit of LineageOS 14.1 is that it brings the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat to many devices, even though the manufacturers stop updating the device. The official LineageOS 14.1 is based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and the UX and features are almost similar to that of CyanogenMod. However, it is expected that the future builds will include new features and new interface.
Note that installing LineageOS 14.1 is just like any custom ROM. It prefers clean installation and requires TWRP recovery and root access on the device. Also, you need to flash Gapps package (default Google apps) after installing the ROM.
If you have any of the devices mentioned above, you can get the corresponding LineageOS file from the Lineage OS download section [HERE]. You can flash the file manually to get the latest Nougat version.
Note: There is no separate section for the OnePlus 3T as the official build for the device has been merged with the OnePlus 3.
