How to Update Honor 5C to Android 7.0 Nougat (EMUI 5.0) Manually


Huawei starts rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat based EMUI 5.0 to Honor 5C in many regions including India. Firmware version B310 (EMUI 5.) includes new features, optimizations, latest Android security patches and VoLTE. EMUI 5.0 OTA updates seeding to Honor 5C and it will take few days or a week to complete. If you cannot wait for the OTA update, here is how to manually update your Honor 5C to EMUI 5.0 (Android 7.0 Nougat).

2. Now, on your SD card create a folder and name it ‘delod’. If the folder is already exists, delete every content from the folder.

3. Copy the entire file, including from the extracted firmware file and save them in the ‘deload’ folder.

5. Dial *#*#2846579#*#* in the dial pad. You will get the software upgrade menu. Select Software Upgrade > SD card Upgrade and then select the update file and run the update.

6. The update will start and once completed, reboot your device.
