The recently launched entry-level Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus come with some unique features. The new Moto Launcher is one among them, which looks similar to Google Pixel launcher. If you are interested to get the new Moto G5 Plus launcher on your Moto G4 or any other Moto phone, a ported version of the launcher is now available. You can install the launcher manually on any of your Moto phone running on Android 7.0 Nougat.
As said above, the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus Launcher looks similar to Pixel launcher with a swipe up gesture to access app drawer. However, the app drawer is transparent in Moto G5 launcher. Thanks to the XDA contributor Junior Passos for porting the launcher for other phones, but it seems that the Moto G 5 launcher works with Moto phones running on Nougat only, such as Moto G4, Moto Z, etc.
Interested users can download Moto G5 Launcher APK from here (source) and install it manually. Do not forget to enable ‘Unknown Sources’ option in Settings menu to install the third-party APK file manually. After installation, set Moto G5 launcher as your default home.
